Timo Werner agrees huge pay cut with RB Leipzig to push through Chelsea exit

Chelsea attacker Timo Werner has agreed to have a 50 per cent pay cutting in order to return to RB Leipzig, co-ordinate to reports.

The 26-year-old has struggled to make an impact at Stamford Span since moving to the club in a £47.5m bargain from RB Leipzig in 2020.

Werner, who has scored 23 goals in 89 games for Chelsea, started merely 15 games in the Premier League concluding campaign and is corking to become more playing time ahead of Frg's World Cup entrada in Qatar this year.

Co-ordinate to Bild, RB Leipzig are at present working on an agreement with the Blues and are exploring the possibility of signing Werner on an initial loan deal with an option to purchase.

The report claims that Werner is finally ready to render to Leipzig and would take a l per cent pay cut in lodge to help push the move through.

Werner's current contract is worth around £275,000 per week, while the forrad has likewise attracted interest from Juventus.
